REFLECT is inspired by finding beauty and information in the urbanscape. Mies’ perfectly distilled vocabulary offers viewers an instant understanding of construction materials and structural system. Approaching facades as information, I use a desaturated approach to isolate the basic unit of information that interacts with light and motion to offer endlessly intriguing rhythms.
REFLECT 3.9 EDGE was shown at SOFA Chicago on Navy Pier in November 2019 with Ken Saunders Gallery. REFLECT offers a bold and vibrant visual experience celebrating the rhythms and beauty found in the cityscape.
