Dynamic Glass & Concrete Installation for a Corporate HQ

Project Overview & Inspiration

For a financial services headquarters in NYC, I created a four-panel installation inspired by the urban textures and architectural rhythms. The client sought a statement piece that would reflect both the precision and energy of their Philadelphia branch, seamlessly integrating with their sleek, modern interior.

Drawing from downtown Philadelphia’s architectural forms, I developed a series that abstracts line, rhythm, dimension, and transitions—capturing the interplay of light and structure in a bustling cityscape. The grayscale glass palette enhances depth, while subtle reflections bring the piece to life as viewers move through the space.

Execution & Process

  • Material Selection: A fusion of glass inlay and concrete balances refined luminosity with urban edge.

  • Design Approach: The series progresses from pure abstraction—refracted light—to a broader, layered view of the city, creating a cohesive yet dynamic narrative.

  • Integration: The work was tailored to complement the corporate interior, providing a sophisticated focal point that resonates with both employees and visitors.

Visual & Emotional Impact

  • The installation transforms throughout the day, reflecting shifts in natural and artificial light.

  • The tactile contrast between shimmering glass and matte concrete creates a bold yet elegant visual experience.

  • The art consultant praised the work for its ability to evoke energy, movement, and connection to place, reinforcing the brand’s identity.

Key Takeaways

This project showcases how my work balances architectural precision with artistic fluidity, making it ideal for corporate, healthcare, and hospitality spaces. By combining urban minimalism with elements of biophilia, my work offers an ever-evolving visual experience that captivates and engages.
