New work in ENCODE series using a slightly desaturated sienna/yellow (inspired from “construction yellow”…the yellow used for street and highway markings). The starting point for my art practice is exploring what information engages the human mind. While the natural world provides the ideal amount of repetition and variation, the built world requires some closer attention to find overlooked beauty and information at a point between repetition and chaos.
