I’m delighted to get installation images of a recent piece. VISTA Prairie Bloom was a custom commission designed to reflect the surrounding midwest native prairie. Rather than depicting a specific place, the rhythms of vertical stems and foliage varied with simple geometric blooms and an atmopsheric textured sky point to prairie views. The piece feels integrated within the space owing to the glass palette which draws from the clients’ colorway.
The piece activates the entry to a healthcare waiting room, shimmering with light from the front windows with no risk of fading. Patients and visitors’ movements bring glass to life as they move past..
